The $15,000 grant for First Nations filmmakers and storytellers is a unique opportunity to share authentic voices and perspectives through documentary filmmaking. This initiative supports the creation of short documentaries (5–10 minutes), empowering Indigenous filmmakers to explore significant stories, celebrate culture, and bring underrepresented narratives to the forefront.
Beyond funding, the grant also provides essential resources to support creative development and production. Successful applicants will receive industry mentorship, specialised workshops, and crew support, enabling them to realise their vision and connect with a wider audience.
